In 2008 Business Information and Consulting Center - Sandanski became a part of "Enterprise Europe Network" together with national consortium with 12 other organizations in Bulgaria.

The new European network includes more than 600 organizations and 4000 skilled professionals from 40 countries. The network offers concrete and effective solutions to entrepreneurs and companies in more than 40 countries, including the 27 EU member states, three EU candidate countries (Croatia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Turkey), members of the European Economic Area (EEA) and other participating third countries. The Enterprise Europe Network - Sandanski is a regional center for the areas of Blagoevgrad and Kyustendil.

Private entrepreneurs and SMEs from the region can turn to the Enterprise Europe Network - Centre in Sandanski for the following services:

• Finding potential trade partners in the country and abroad;
• Supporting the development of new products, access to new markets and advice on developing EU projects;
• Consulting enterprises on technical issues such as intellectual property rights, product standards and EU legislation;
• Providing information about financing opportunities for small business;
• Support the implementation of business innovation and technology transfer;
• Promoting initiatives, information and advice on EU policies and programmes aimed at SMEs;
• Helping SMEs to share research results, participate in research programs and apply for funding, particularly from the EU's Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7);
• Organizing pedagogical fairs for technology transfer and know-how between innovative enterprises;
• Involving SMEs and other business related organizations in the policy-making process, by transmitting feedback to the Commission and monitoring the implementation of EU policies in the field of competitiveness and innovation.
